Pony Escapades Riding Club
Pony Escapades Riding Club combines horseback riding with a little Kansas back country to create summer memories that your kids won't forget. This is a program where kids can learn and improve horseback riding skills, deepen their horsemanship knowledge, and have fun exploring the Kansas country side with friends.
The club is a half day Hunter/Jumper style program for kids who LOVE horses. All levels are welcome, from kids who have never been on a horse to those that have been riding their entire lives. All children's riding skills will be assessed and will be placed on an appropriate level horses with top notch coaches.
We pride ourselves in providing a fun, safe and well-rounded horse camp experience where kids can immerse themselves in the moment and enjoy themselves in a relaxed environment.
The Club will run from 9 am to 2 pm. Tuesday through Friday at the below mentioned dates. Our campers will ride once a day, but, no horse crazy kid’s day would be complete without rolling up their sleeves and getting a little dirty! There will be ample time for grooming, tacking, untacking and barn chores throughout the day. Our campers will learn to take great pride in caring for their horses and ponies. We will also be adventuring to the countryside to play in the creek, roasting hot dogs and s'mores around the camp fire for a lunch and much more!
Example Day:
9-10:15 am: Tack up and have a group lesson with only 1-2 other campers!
10:15am: Learn the proper techniques of grooming your horse
11 am: Have fun with a craft- Paint your camp t-shirt, make jewelry or one of our other fun options!
At the farm, Noon is always lunch time.
1-2 pm: spend the afternoon playing in the creek! Don't forget your swimsuit or a change of clothes!
